RECOVERY • RESILIENCE • REBUILDING
Resilience in Recovery
Getting sober was the beginning. Rebuilding was the real work.
Recovery is not only about what you stop doing. It is about what you choose to build next — relationships, confidence, purpose, work, family, identity and a life you actually want to be present for.

Sobriety does not erase the past. It gives you the opportunity to decide what happens next.
My Recovery Story
For a long time, I was very good at looking like I had everything under control. I was raising a family, building businesses, working constantly and trying to keep moving forward even as more and more of life was becoming difficult behind the scenes.
Eventually, I reached a point where the way I was living simply was not working anymore. Choosing sobriety gave me clarity, but it did not magically repair everything that had happened before it. Relationships still needed work. Trust had to be rebuilt. Professional and personal challenges still existed. I had to learn how to be present again and figure out who I wanted to become without alcohol being part of the equation.
That is the part of recovery I care most about talking about: the rebuilding. Not a polished “after” picture, but the real middle ground between deciding to change and creating a life that reflects that decision.
THE BOOK
Resilience in Recovery
A book about what happens after you decide to change your life — and have to start putting the pieces back together.
Resilience in Recovery grew out of the experience of rebuilding while still living through it. It is not written from the perspective of someone claiming to have recovery mastered. It is about the work of moving forward while the past is still real and life is still complicated.
The book explores sobriety, consequences, relationships, family, identity, work, resilience and the sometimes uncomfortable truth that recovery is not about becoming perfect. It is about becoming willing to build differently.
Retail and release information will be added here as the book becomes available.
